Using the External Trigger

This camera, in addition to the mode of normal shooting of
moving objects, features the special modes, R. R., EXT.
TRIG and LTR. In these modes the camera outputs the
image controlled by an external trigger signal without using
its vertical sync signal. This allows you to capture a still
image at your preferred timing with an external frame
memory. The three modes differ in trigger pulse timing,
delay time of the start of accumulation from the trigger
signal, and the accumulation mode (frame or field mode).
This section explains the features and operating procedures
of the three modes.
Note
If you set SHUTTER to R. R., EXT. TRIG. or LTR,
automatic white balance and automatic iris control do not
function.
