Adjusting and Setting with Menus

Function
Use for manual adjustment of white balance.
MANU
When this item is selected, R. GAIN and B. GAIN are
highlighted. Adjust them while observing the monitor
screen.
R. GAIN: Finely adjusts the red gain in the range from
–127 to +127.
B. GAIN: Finely adjusts the blue gain in the range
from –127 to +127.
C. TEMP (color temperature)
Selects the color temperature according to the lighting
conditions.

Note
When WHT. BAL is set to AWB, the items in C.TEMP
cannot be selected.

Chapter 2 Operation
MAS. PED (master pedestal)
The pedestal levels of the G, B and R output signals can be
adjusted simultaneously. Normally set to ±0.
Adjusts the darkness level of the black part of the image.
Use this function to bring out details in heavily shaded
areas. The adjustable range is from –127 to +127.
Use of a waveform monitor allows easier adjustment.

The whole image becomes blacker.
When MAS. PED is selected, R. PED and B. PED are
highlighted. Use them to finely adjust the pedestal level of
each color. Adjust these items while observing the monitor
screen.
