REPLACEMENT OF
WIDE TRAPEZOIDAL
BELT FOR
EXPANDING PULLEYS
This belt type (9) has a duration of
approx 10.000 workinghours (5
years).
Yearly check the belt condition.
If the belt is worn out or after 5 years
replace it.
The belt is of the following type:
CW 33x10 - II 1070
To replace the belt, proceed in the fol-
lowing way:
– Turn the machine ON and set the
lowest speed by tur ning the
handwheel (11) counterclockwise.
– Remove the casing coverning the
transmission by loosening the
screws (10) completely and moving
it longitudinally so that the index
(12) is free.
– Allow the trapezoidal belt to go
above the brim of the pulley (13).
– Turn the pulley (14) until the belt
can be removed.
– Replace the belt (9)
– Carry out the above-mentioned
operations in the reverse order.
