SAFETY DEVICES

The machine is supplied with the fol-
lowing safety devices:
– Guard (1) covering the entire blade
except for the part carrrying out the
cut.
– Connecting rod (2) governing the
mobile sector (3) equipped with a
releasing device (4) equipped with
a padlock (5).
This guard padlock is supplied with
the machine and must always be
locked. The key must be given to
the foreman or to another person in
charge. If the blade is replaced
(see instructions) the person who
keeps the key must supervise the
operation (which is carried ojut with
the machine OFF) after he has
opened the padlock. When the
blade has been replaced, mount
and close the padlock (5). The
foreman must then take the key
away with him.
– Small device on the peg (7) To
prevent the removal of the connec-
ting rod from the mobile part of the
guard.
– Main switch (I1) which can be pad-
locked.
If the machine is not working cor-
rectly or the blade must be repla-
ced, place a padlock on the switch
(6). The key of this padlock must
be kept by a person in charge.
– Safety grip (8) (with a protective
covering over the push button to
prevent the blade from being acci-
dentally turned on) with a push but-
ton (F1) which starts the blade.
The machine operates in low volta-
ge (24V).
