Timing the left cylinder
rotate the flywheel in the engine rotation sen-
se (counterclockwise) until the piston is at

Spark plugs
The
type of spark plugs
to be used is indicated
at

6.
Spark plug points gap:

(.023").
The
spark plugs are best
cleaned with petrol
and
a
wire
brush,
using a needle for the inner part.
In re-fitting the spark
plugs ensure they
are
pro-
perly started by hand
for a few turns completing
the operation by
means of the proper wrench
in
the tool kit.
If
not
properly
started, the cyli'nder
head thread may get stripped
.
Fo
r
all
events,
the
plugs
have to be
replaced
every 10000 km (6000
miles
a.)
even
if
they
ap-
pear to be still in good conditions.
