Starting a hot engine
In this
case
it is not necessary to set the «Star-
ter»
control
lever in
starting
position «8

as this would reachen

Starting of the engine in case of
emergency
In case of damages
to
the electric startin9 cir-
cuit,
the engine can
be started
only by
following
conditions and
proceeding
:
shift
into

Low

speed
and pull the
clutch
control lever completely
in

get the motorcycle riding
at

pull the clutch
control
lever
completely

give
a
short
acceleration and shift the rear pedal

the new speed is quickly and
smoothly

Release then
the clutch control
lever.
To
change from
«Drive»
speed into «Low» speed,
act
on
the
throttle
control
to reduce speed under
130 km

Pull
the
clutch control
lever completely
in
and after giving a short acce-
leration shift the front pedal
«R»
of the gear
con-
trol
towards the ground so to
quickly
and
smoo-
tly
engage
the
new speed
.
Release then the
clutch control
lever.
Note:
As this motorcycle fits a hydraulic converter, it
is
not necessary
to often
use the gear
control,
lever for quick speed change
(which
even
in-
cludes the
risk
of not disengaging the
clutch
completely)
.
The choice of the two speeds has been made
by the dual range of riding.
