    Enabling/Disabling DHCP Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) automatically assigns IP addresses to devices when they are connected to the network. The IP 705 enables DHCP by default. If you do not use DHCP in your network, you can disable DHCP before manually assigning an IP address to the IP 705.
