When activated, this automatic
headlight feature turns your
headlights and other operating
lights on and off by sensing how
dark it is outside.
See "Automatic Headlight System"
later in this section for more
information.
Rotate the knob to to turn off
the exterior lights and automatic
lighting features.
To turn the automatic headlight
system back on, rotate the knob to
the off position again, then release
it.
Lights On Reminder
If you open any door while the
lights' manual control is on and
the key is not in the ignition, you
will hear a warning tone.
There are two ways to turn off this
feature:
• Rotate the knob to turn the
lights off and then back on.
• Close and re-open the door.

Automatic Headlight
System
When activated, this automatic
headlight feature turns your
headlights and other operating
lights on and off by sensing how
dark it is outside.
In order for this feature to work
properly, be sure not to cover the
light sensor on the top of the
instrument panel.
Rotate the knob to AUTO to
activate this system.
Then, if it is dark outside, your
vehicle's headlights and operating
lights will turn on automatically
when the ignition is turned on.
