Instrumentation and Controls
- Press and hold the lock and
unlock buttons on the trans-
mitter together for about
15 seconds.
A chime will sound when the
transmitter is matched to the
vehicle.
Note:
The first transmitter matched
to the vehicle will be labeled
"Driver 1" by the system. The
second transmitter matched
will be labeled "Driver 2".
- To match additional transmit-
ters, repeat the previous step.
Up to eight transmitters can
be matched to your vehicle.
- To exit programming mode,
turn off the ignition.

• PRESS TO CHANGE
COMPASS ZONE (press
change compass zone)
Note: This feature may not be
available on all vehicles.
Your vehicle's compass should
be pre-set to your zone.
If your vehicle is taken outside
this zone, it may be necessary
to adjust the compass to
compensate for variance.
See "Compass" later in this sec-
tion for compass information.
• PRESS TO CALIBRATE
to COMPASS (press
calibrate compass)
Note: This feature may not be
available on all vehicles.
With the ignition on, the
compass reading will appear in
the driver information center
display.
If CAL appears in the Driver
Information Center display, the
compass needs calibration.
If an incorrect reading is
displayed, first check that the
compass is set to the correct
variance zone. If it is, the
compass may need calibration.
