Service and Maintenance
Backup Lights
1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the screws and pull
out the light assembly.
Pull the light assembly straight
rearward to disengage the pins
on the assembly.
3. Press the tab (if equipped)
and turn the socket counter-
clockwise to remove it.
Pull the bulb straight out to
remove it from the socket.

4. Replace the bulb and reverse
the steps for installation.
Be sure to properly align the
holes in the assembly to the
round ends of the mounting
pins.
License lights
1. Remove the two screws from
each light assembly.
2. Rotate the bulb assembly and
pull the assembly through the
opening in the liftgate trim.
3. Turn the bulb socket counter-
clockwise to remove it.
Pull the bulb straight out to
remove it from the socket.
4. Replace the bulb and reverse
the steps for installation.
