Turn the pump master switch ON to pressurize the system.
When a faucet is opened after the initial filling of the tank, the
not cause for concern. The water flow will become steady
when all air is bled from the water lines.
Dirt, mineral scale, and organic matter are filtered out of the
fresh water system by an in-line water filter on the inlet side
of the water pump. If you suspect a clogged filter, it is easily
removed and cleaned.
Inspect the filter after running the first full tank of water.
Clean and inspect monthly thereafter. See illustration for filter
location.
1. Loosen the water line at the inlet end of the filter, and
remove.
2. Unscrew the filter cap from the filter.
3. Remove the filter screen
4. Flush out and clean screen.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
6. Operate the water pump and check for leaks.
To drain hot and cold lines:
1. On all models open HOT and COLD low point drain valves
located in the basement utility compartment. On model
40VS also open the HOT and COLD low point drain valves
located in the basement storage compartment on the
opposite side of the vehicle.
2. After the water stops flowing close the low paint drain
valves.
3. Open the valves to the outdoor washdown shower and
depress the shower handle until all water has drained from
the lines.
