See the Chassis Owner's Manual for chassis fuel recommen-
dations. The generator is designed to run on the same fuel as
the chassis. Consult the generator operating instructions for
special cautions about maintenance with different types of
fuels.
Fuel fills are located on the left and right side of the motor
home just behind the front wheels. Modern fuel systems may
build up vapor pressure within the tank as the fuel warms
during use or hot weather.
Replace lost or damaged fuel fill caps with caps of the same
design which are available from your Fleetwood motor home
dealer.
Clean up fuel spills immediately. Fuel spilled on the motor
home could damage the exterior finish, and is a serious fire
hazard.
Cummins, the engine manufacturer, recommends the use of
ASTM No.2 diesel fueL At operating temperatures below 32
degrees, acceptable performance can be obtained by using
blends of No.2 and No. I diesel fuels. The use of lighter fuels
can reduce fuel economy.
Also, you should be familiar with the "summer" and "winter"
diesel fuel blends formulated specifically for hot and cold
climates. If you have a "summer" blend fuel in a cold climate,
additives can be added to the fuel tank to "winterize" the fueL
