You must consider other important weight factors if you
expect to pull a trailer, tow dolly, or another vehicle behind
your motor home. These factors have limitations just like the
weight factors. These factors are:

GCWR-Gross Combined Weight Rating

GTW-Gross Towed Weight
»
MTW-Maxim1l11l Tongue Weight
»
Hitch Rating
If you expect to pull a vehicle with your motor home, there
are additional guidelines that you must follow:

Your motor home is equipped with a 10,000 lb. hitch
receiver assembly.
»
Limit the tongue weight of the trailer or towing device to the
MTW as listed on the ratings tag. Heavier tongue weights
can damage your motor home frame and bod)\ cause
unstable driving and handling characteristics, and will
restrict your coverage under the Ownercare Warranty.
»
Do not tow a vehicle weighing more than the GTW listed
all
the wardrobe door tag. Heavier towed loads can cause
braking problems, damage the motor home, cause un-
stable driving or handling characteristics, and restrict
your coverage under the Ownercare Warrant)'. Changing
the hitch receiver will not increase the tow capacity of the
motor home.

NOTE
Some states and prov-
inces require brakes and
safety chains on towed
vehicles. Consult the
proper authorities in the
states or provinces
through which you will be
traveling.
ArWARNING
Do not exceed the GVWR,
GCWR, or any GAWR of
your motor home. Exceed-
ingthe GVWR, GCWR, or
any GAWR of your motor
home will reduce your war-
ranty protection, can
cause undesirable han-
dling characteristics and
may create a safety
hazard.
WARNING
The chassis brake sys-
tem was designed to ac-
commodate only the
GVWR of your motor
home. There is no provi-
sion for braking of the
loaded motor home and
any towed load. Any ve-
hicle or trailer towed with
your motor home must
be equipped with brakes
which are applied auto-
matically and in propor-
tion to the application of
the motor home brakes.
