Reassembling the ignition case: ignition case:
•
Apply grease to the caged needle Apply grease to the caged needle
bearing and reinstall it.
•
Reinstall the two starter shafts and their Reinstall the two starter shafts and their
gears.
•
Visually inspect the oil seal on the oil Visually inspect the oil seal on the oil
centrifuge.
•
Use special tool number 1818 to install Use special tool number 1818 to install
the oil centrifuge.
Tighten the oil centrifuge fixing screw to the Tighten the oil centrifuge fixing screw to the
appropriate torque.

Screw and tighten the centrifuge. and tighten the centrifuge.
Torque the centrifuge fixing screw to: the centrifuge fixing screw to: 8 Nm.

medium threadlocker.
•
Install the remaining shafts and gears Install the remaining shafts and gears.
•
Install the two case locating pins. Install the two case locating pins
•
Install a new gasket.
•
Install the ignition crankcase cover and Install the ignition crankcase cover and
tighten the 10 screws.
Torque the ignition crankcase cover screws Torque the ignition crankcase cover screws
to: 10 Nm.
