Electric heater 3kW

The dimensions of the pipe couplings are 40 mm. The figure above shows the recommended connections
for incoming and outgoing water. It is important that the electric heater is connected to the outgoing water
from the indoor unit for your air/water heat pump to avoid damage to your unit and for the best economy.
The mechanical thermostat must be set about 3-5 degrees below the set supply temperature on your
air/water heat pump to support the heat pump at a slightly lower temperature when the heat pump's
output is not able to generate the house power demands alone. In this way, the electric heater is only
activated when the heat pump is incapable of producing enough energy. It is essential that your heat
pump is set to control through fixed supply temperature and is not controlled by a thermostat. There is a
risk otherwise that the electric heater will run too much or too little.
When the electric heater is at 3 kW, it requires self-supply and needs to be fused by up to 16A and a
residual current device (30 mA).
