Compact Disc Player
There are two repeat features—You can
either replay a disc track or a whole com-
pact disc.
Repeating a track:
Quickly push and release "
" while the
track is playing. "
" will appear on the
display. If you hear a beep, you held the
button too long, and the player will repeat
the whole disc. When the track ends, it
will automatically be replayed. This pro-
cess will be continued until you push the
button again to turn off the repeat feature.
Repeating a disc:
Push and hold "
" until you hear a
beep. "
" will appear on the display.
The player will repeat all the tracks on the
disc you are listening to. When the disc
ends, the player will automatically go back
to the first track on the disc and replay.
This process will be continued until you
push the button again to turn off the re-
peat feature.
SAT* (Satellite radio)
Push the "AM·SAT" button to turn on the
radio and select the XMr band. "SAT1",
"SAT2" or "SAT3" will appear on the dis-
play. This system allows you to set eigh-
teen XMr channels, three for each of the
preset button.
Error messages
If the satellite radio tuner malfunction,
your audio system will display the follow-
ing error messages.
"ANTENNA":
D
The XMr antenna is not connected.
Check whether the XMr antenna cable
is attached securely.
D
A short−circuit occurs in the antenna or
the surrounding antenna cable. See a
Toyota certified dealer.
"UPDATING":
D
You have not subscribed to the XMr
satellite radio. The radio is being up-
dated with the latest encryption code.
Contact the XMr satellite radio for sub-
scription information. When a contact is
canceled, you can choose the "CH000"
and all free−to−air channels.
D
The premium channel you selected is
not authorized. Wait for about 2 sec-
onds until the radio returns to the pre-
vious channel or "CH001". If it does
not change automatically, select anoth-
er channel. If you want to listen to the
premium channel, contact the XMr sat-
ellite radio.
"NO SIGNAL": The XMr signal is too
weak at the current location. Wait until
your vehicle reaches a location with a
stronger signal.
"LOADING": The unit is acquiring audio
or program information. Wait until the unit
has received the information.
"OFF AIR": The channel you selected is
not broadcasting any programming. Select
another channel.
"– – –": The channel you selected is no
longer available. Wait for about 2 seconds
until the radio returns to the previous
channel or "CH001". If it does not change
automatically, select another channel.
