1.4.4 Display of Messages
This printer displays three types of messages on the LCD: status messages, error messages, and
power on messages.

Status Messages

1.4.4.1
The LCD panel normally indicates the printer's status and the software mode.

Error Messages

If any of the following errors occurs, it will be displayed on the LCD panel. The error must be
cleared immediately using the measures shown in the following table.

Measures
Open the cover and remove the
jammed paper. Then close the
cover.
in the Remove the jammed paper. Then
press the Continue button.
Close the cover.
Insert the imaging cartridge
Insert the paper cassette
paper and press On Line
button.
Load paper in paper tray or
optional cassette.
Rotate and insert paper.
Load proper paper and press the
Continue button.
Press the Continue button.
Confirm and press the Continue
button. And add optional SIMM.
