Troubleshooting
• If your unit fails to recognize a map card:
off the unit and remove the card. Switch the unit
on again and re-insert the card. Also be sure to
check you are on the latest version of software
(download available from our website).
• If your screen flickers:
Wait 10 minutes or so
and it should stop. Some flickering is normal and
happens when using a strong power source such
as when using the supplied AA Lithium Energizers
(the most powerful AA batteries on the market).
• If water gets under the screen cover:
cover and gently wipe away the moisture with a
soft cloth. Any direct hand pressure may mark the
inner screen. (Refer to section 2.06 for more tips
on how to care for your unit).
• 'Snail trail' is not displaying:
Make sure you have
a GPS lock and the trip log is recording
