GVC-3000 User Guide
1) GVC - 3000 is unable to make a call using a phone number
a) Check that you dialed a valid number.
b) Check that your network cable is properly connected.
c) The Videophone is not connected to the Internet. Verify all network settings,
including DNS.
d) The Videophone is not registered with any SIP server.
2) GVC - 3000 is showing an off-hook message on the LCD.
a) The handset is off the hook. Make sure that the handset is in the cradle
properly.
3) GVC – 3000 shows a busy message on the alert after the call is tried.
a) Person you are trying to call is not ready for a SIP based Internet call. Wait
until the person you are trying to reach is ready.
b) Person you are trying to call is in a call or has rejected your call. Try your
call at a later time.
4) GVC - 3000 doesn't ring with an incoming call
a) GVC - 3000 call forwarding feature is enabled. Un-check "call forward
always" and save your changes.
5) GVC - 3000 freezes-up while answering a call
a) GVC - 3000

6) Poor video in a call
a) Camera out of focus. The other party should focus their camera by twisting
the knob on GVC - 3000 until the image is in focus.
