GVC-3000 User Guide
Voice Mail Number: This specifies the Phone number of the MWI server to be used
to retrieve the voice mail messages. This field is optional and can be left blank.
* An Outbound Proxy is a SIP Proxy used when the User Agent (UA) sits behind a NAT (Network
Address Translation) Server. It is the proxy's job to get responses from the UA and route replies
back to the UA via the NAT Server.

8.3.3.MWI Configuration

Use SIP Configuration: Select this check box if your MWI Configuration is same as
your SIP Configuration provided in your previous screens. If you select this, all
configuration fields are grayed out indicating that you need not have to enter the
details again. Do not select this if you like to configure the MWI details.
User ID: This specifies the phone number of the Phone with which it subscribes
with MWI server. Normally this would be same as the SIP Phone number.
Server: This field specifies the IP or domain name of the server for MWI service.
Port: This specifies the Port number of the MWI server.
User Name: This field along with the Password used to authenticate the IP Phone
with the Voice Message Server.
Password: This field along with the User Name used to authenticate the IP Phone
with the Voice Message Server.
Please note that the Password is alpha-numeric. To enable easy entering of
alpha-numeric text on a password field, the entered character is shown at the right
end of the box for a split second
