Frequent or long door openings. Minimise door openings.
Door gasket leaking.

With time and usage, movement
may occur.
Packaging trapped.
Runners not extending fully.
Unsealed packages may be
transmitting odour/taste.
May be due to a build up of dirt
and/or grime.
An obstruction is blocking door
closing.
Soft closing door feature failure
(soft closing door models only).
Accumulation of dust on or
behind the rear compartment
cover.
What to do
–
–
Wipe dry.
Check that gasket is sitting flat and sealing
tightly.
Wipe dry.

Check to ensure no food or packaging is
trapped behind the tray/bin.
Holding onto sides of tray/bin, extend the
runners fully by using a firm pull – this will
reset the runner.
Discard ice cubes and clean ice storage
bin. See 'Cleaning Care – Interior' section.
Wrap or cover strong smelling foods.
See 'Cleaning Care – Exterior' section.
Move obstruction.
Soft closing door feature is not serviceable
by user.
