● Symptom :
Booklet maker main paddle does not work properly.
● Troubleshooting method :
Is the main paddle home sensor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-5640)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of the sensor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector J7 on the booklet maker control board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the main paddle home sensor.
5. Replace the booklet maker control board.
Is the main paddle motor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0320)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of main paddle motor is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector J2 on the booklet maker control board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity and replace it if required.
4. Replace the main paddle motor.
5. Replace the booklet maker control board.
Is there any noise when main paddle motor operate?
NO / YES 1. Check if gears are broken. Replace gears if it does.
Check if paddle roller hub is broken. Replace hub if it does.
