● Symptom :
The Punch Scan Edge sensor can not detect the edge of the paper.
● Troubleshooting method :
Is the punch scan motor working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-0210)
YES / NO → Refer to H2-2449 troubleshooting instructions.
Are the punch scan edge sensors working? (Perform diagnostic routine 116-5470, 116-5480, 116-5490)
YES / NO 1. Check if the connector of punch sensor board is disconnected.
2. Check if the connector P2 on the punch control board is disconnected.
3. Check the harness continuity between punch control board and punch sensor board.
4. Replace the punch sensor board.
5. Replace the punch control board.
Check if paper size is correct.
