Symptom Open circuit is detected in the input lead from the side-
stand switch to the ECU.
20 Sidestand switch
Symptom When the main switch is turned to "ON", the atmospheric
pressure sensor voltage and intake air pressure sensor
voltage differ greatly.

Check or maintenance job
• Execute the diagnostic mode.

• Check the coupler for any pins
that may be pulled out.
• Check the locking condition of
the coupler.
• If there is a malfunction, repair it
and connect the coupler se-
curely.
• Repair or replace if there is an
open or short circuit.
• Between ECU coupler and relay
unit coupler.
(blue/yellow–blue/yellow)
• Between relay unit coupler and
sidestand switch coupler.
(blue/black–blue/black)
• Between sidestand switch cou-
pler and engine ground.
(black–black)
• Replace if defective.
