What Your SuperLine Adapter Does

Your SuperLine Adapter allows you to connect multiple phones, fax machines, or
modems using your existing telephone wiring.
The SuperLine technology:
Transforms your existing single phone line into multiple phone lines (superlines) to
support up to two additional phones, fax machines, or modems simultaneously.
Operates over your existing copper wire with your existing telephone jacks.
Allows True56K
speeds on your SuperLines.
Only operates with Touch Tone
dial phones.
NOTE:
Your local telephone company must enable these services and assign phone
numbers to the additional phone lines before your SuperLine Adapter will work.
Your SuperLine Adapter connects to your existing phone line to provide up to two
additional phone lines (superlines). These superlines support any combination of up to
two phones, faxes, or modems. Your SuperLine Adapter also allows True56K modem
speeds with an International Telecommunications Union (ITU) V.90 standard modem.
The following figure depicts a typical home or small office configuration with several
existing phones and two superlines. Phone filters are connected to your existing
phones to reduce the amount of interference generated during phone conversations.
