4. Troubleshooting
When A is displayed (Type 1)

Open the right cover
of the machine.

Lift up the cover in
front of the transfer
roller.
.
Open cover C, and
then remove the
misfed paper.

Remove the misfed
paper.

If you cannot remove
misfed paper, remove
that from the internal
tray.
.
Close the right cover.

When Y is displayed

Open the lower right
cover of the optional
paper tray unit, and
then remove the
misfed paper.
.
Close the right cover.
When A is displayed (Type 2)

Open the right cover
of the machine.
.
Lift up the cover in
front of the transfer
roller.
. .
If you cannot remove
misfed paper, open
the lower right cover
and cover A1, and
then remove the
misfed paper.
.
Close cover A1 and
the lower right cover.
.
.
Remove the misfed
paper.
Open cover C, and
then remove the
misfed paper.
If you cannot remove
misfed paper, remove
that from the internal
tray.
Close the right cover.
