How to Delay Start
of Cleaning
Delay Startis settingthe oven
timerto startthe cleancycle
automatically at a later timethan
the presenttime of day.
NOTE:
Beforebeginning,makesurethe
ovenclockshowsthe correcttime
of day.
Quick Reminder—Delay
Start for Self-Clean:
1.
Prepareoven for cleaning.
2. Slidethe latchhandleto the
rightas far as it willgo.
3. Press CLEANpad.
4. Press INCREASEpad.
5. Press STOPTIMEpad.
Timethatappearsis 3 hours
laterthanthetimeof day.Press
INCREASEpad untilthe Stop
Timeyou desireappearsin the
display.The self-cleancycle
willautomatically b egin3 hours
beforethe stoptimeyou select.
For example:Let'ssay it's 7:00
and you wantthe ovento begin
self-cleaningat 9:00after you're
finishedin the kitchen.The oven
isjust soileda norrnd amountso
the normalCleanTimeof 3 hours
is preferred.
Step 1:
Preparetheovenforcleaning.
Step 2: Closethe ovendoor and
make surethe ovenlightis off.
Slidelatchhandleto the right as
far as it will go.

Press CLEANpad.
Step
4: PressINCREASEpad.
Step 5: Cleantimefor heavy soil
can be set for 4 hours.If a longer
or shorterCleanTimeis desired,
pressINCREASEor DECREASE
pad untildesiredcleantime is
displayed.

Step 6:
PressSTOPTIMEpad.The
earliestpossiblestoptimeappears
on displayand "STOPTIME'
flashes.Thecontrolautomatically
setsStopTimeby addingtheClean
Timeto the timeof day.In this
example, t he timeof dayis 7:00and
the CleanTimeis 3 hours.Adding3
hoursto the timeof dayequals
10:00.
Step
7: ChangeStopTimefrom
10:00to 12:00by pressing
INCREASE paduntil"12:00"
appearsin thedisplay.
The words "DELAYCLEAN"
will also appearin the display.
The self-cleancyclewill
automatically beginat 9:00and
finishat 12:00.The word "ON'
will appearon the displayat 9:00.
Whenthe ovenlocks,the word
"LOCK' will be displayedand, a
shorttime later,the doorlatch
handlewillbe lockedin position.
It willnot be possibleto openthe
ovendooruntilthe temperature
dropsbelowthe lock temperature.
Whenthe cleancycleis finished,
the word"CLEAN"will go out
in the displayand the ovenwill
beginto cool.Whenthe oven
temperaturehas fallenbelowthe
lockingtemperature(about20-30
minutesafterthe word"CLEAN'
goesout at the end of the clean
cycle),the word "LOCK"goesout
and the doorcan be opened.
Step
8: Whenthe LOCKlightis
off, slidelatchhandleto the left as
far as it will go and openthe door.
Never force the latch handle.
Wait until the word "LOCK"
goes out in the display. Forcing
the latch handle may damage the
door lock.
