7. Auto Track

With the Auto Track (Automatic Track incrementing) on, a new file
begins automatically at specified intervals of recording time.
The Auto Track can be set to increment every 1, 5, 10, 15 or 30
minutes, or every 1, 2, 6, 8, 12 or 24 hours.
1.
From Stop, press and hold the DISPLAY button for 3 seconds.
2.
Press the VOL + or VOL – button to select Preset Menu. Then
press the 3/8/ENTER button to accept.

Press the VOL + or VOL – button to select Preset 1, 2 or 3.
Then press the 3/8/ENTER button to accept the selected
Preset.
4.
Press the VOL + or VOL – button to select the Auto Track item.
Then press the ¢ or 4 button to tab through the Auto
Track choices (Off, 1, 5, 10, 15 or 30min, or 1, 2, 6, 8, 12 or
24hours).

Press the VOL + or VOL – button to select other Menu choices.
When changing the Preset is complete, press the DISPLAY
button to store the changes, or press the STOP/CANCEL
button to exit Menu mode without storing any changes.

8. Silent Skip

The Silent Skip automatically pauses recording when there is a
period of silence and resumes recording when sound resumes.
This feature is often referred to as voice activated recording.
Silent Skip looks for sound below a preset level for three
seconds time. When that occurs, the PMD620 switches to record
pause. When a signal above the preset level is input, recording
resumes.
1.
From Stop, press and hold the DISPLAY button for 3 seconds.
2.
Press the VOL + or VOL – button to select Preset Menu. Then
press the 3/8/ENTER button to accept.

Press the VOL + or VOL – button to select Preset 1, 2 or 3.
Then press the 3/8/ENTER button to accept the selected
Preset.
4.
Press the VOL + or VOL – button to select the Silent Skip item.
Then press the ¢ or 4 button to tab through the Silent
Skip choices (Off, –60dB, –54dB, –38dB or –20dB).
5.
Press the VOL + or VOL – button to select other Menu choices.
When changing the Preset is complete, press the DISPLAY
button to store the changes, or press the STOP/CANCEL
button to exit Menu mode without storing any changes.
