ACCEPT BROADCAST MESSAGES

In this menu you can determine, whether
you wish to accept broadcast messages,
such as advertisements, weather forecasts,
traffic reports and sport results.

BASE STATION ID

The base station id indicates the area, in
which your phone is located at the very mo-
ment. If the option is set on, the sign of the
base station is displayed as the phone is in
stand-by mode. However, all the networks
do not use the sign.
Please note that using the base station id
raises the power consumption.
Set the option on or off as described above.

BROADCAST MESSAGE TYPES

If you have turned on the option
broadcast messages
, general messages of
different types can be broadcast to you (de-
pending on your SIM card).
In this sub-menu you can add or delete cer-
tain types of messages, e.g. advertisements,
which you do or do not want to accept.
