When the system is armed and you are forced to disarm it, enter the duress code - the system will be disarmed, but in addition, a silent alarm will be sent to the Monitoring Station (if you are a subscriber) and the phones of the users.

You can bypass zones only temporarily and only when the system is disarmed: a zone can be bypassed only for one arming and it returns to normal mode when the system is disarmed again.

The other types on the menu, except “Disable zone displaying” display various information for a minute, before they return to one of the basic types.
