I have a Logic + Heat H24 boiler. It is running continuously and independent of either the thermostat (checked and working) or the controller (brand new). It has been the case in-the last 3 days. Any suggestions?

The IDEAL Logic+ Combi 24 boiler may be running continuously despite a working thermostat and new controller because the boiler comes pre-fitted with a link wire between the room thermostat/Timer connections on the terminal strip. This link wire creates a permanent call for heat and must be removed when adding a room thermostat or programmer. If the link wire is still in place, the boiler will continue to operate as if there is a constant demand for heating. To fix this, isolate the mains supply, access the terminal strip, and ensure the link wire has been removed.
