Inspecting your Electric Scooter Always inspect your scooter before you ride it, to make sure its safety features are oper- ating properly. Many accidents can be avoided with routine inspections. Once you are comfortable with your scooter, you will be able to detect small changes in the way it feels. If anything changes between uses, make sure to have it properly examined.
Brakes Your scooter has a hand-operated brake located on the left hand side. It is connected to the rear wheel. Squeeze the lever to activate the brake. When the brakes are activated, the power to the engine is automatically turned o , until you release the brakes.
Charging your Scooter In order to prevent overcharging the battery for your scooter, follow the chart below.
