11.3 ENGINE OIL CHANGE ______________________________________________________

Perform initial oil change after the first 20 hours of
operation. Change oil every 100 hours thereafter.
1. To change engine oil, attach a 7/16 in. (11 mm) i.d.
hose (A) to oil drain valve (B). Place other end of
hose into a suitable container.
2. Remove oil fill plug (C).
3. Push drain lever (D) towards rear of mower and
rotate down. Allow engine oil to drain into container.
4. When oil has completely drained, rotate drain lever
(D) up until it latches in the closed position.
5. Remove hose (A) and clean up any spilled oil.
6. Add engine oil until oil level is at full level. See
Figure 11A.
After adding or changing oil, start and run engine at idle
with all drives disengaged for 30 seconds. Shut engine
off. Wait 30 seconds and check oil level. Add oil to bring
up to FULL level.

11.4 ENGINE SPEED ___________________________________________________________

The engine speed is set at the factory for proper
generator output. However, engine speed should be
checked periodically, and adjusted to 59 volts. An output
voltage greater than 60 volts will cause an alarm to sound
and may cause system damage. Controller will shut
down after 60 seconds if the over voltage condition is not
corrected.
1. Turn the ignition switch to run position. Start the
engine and turn ignition switch to start position.
2. Press either orange button on LCD display until
system voltage screen is on the display.
3. Remove the throttle lever cover.
4. Adjust the engine throttle position until LCD displays
system voltage of 59 volts.
5. Stop the engine and install throttle lever cover.
