ELAN Multi-Room Controller-Based Systems
There are many possible applications when using the V8 in ELAN Multi-Room Controller-based systems. This sec-
tion shows basic concepts that can be combined or arranged according to the needs of the exact system being
installed.
V8/S66A
When utilizing a S66A Integrated Multi-Room Controller, the V8 can be an economical and versatile video switch-
ing solution. In this application, the S66A routes analog audio and performs IR distribution and amplification func-
tions. The V8 routes composite video (DVD, Satellite, and VIA!Quad w/ cameras) sources to TVs and to ELAN Touch
Panels.
