5.4 Micro pilot joystick

Micro pilot is a miniature joystick based on a
different technology than other mini "throw"
based joysticks (fi gure 11). As little as 10 grams
of force with virtually no joystick defl ection, will
activate the chair. This force is adjustable from
10 - 50 grams. All internal metal construction
means outstanding durability.
Approximate joystick dimensions: diameter
5/8", height without knob 2 ½"
Non defl ection and 10 to 50 grams pressure
Handicare offers the micro pilot mounted
in the worktop (fi xed) and on the chin arm
(mechanical or electrical)

5.5 Micro guide joystick

Micro guide (fi gure 12) has the same size and
durability as the micro pilot but with joystick
defl ection. For clients that prefer the feedback
of movement. Defl ection with a standard knob
will be 1/4" neutral to forward joystick. For
activation a force of 40 grams is needed.
Approximate joystick dimensions: diameter
5/8", height without knob 2.8"
Defl ection (1,5 cm movement) and 40 grams
pressure
Handicare offers the micro guide mounted
in the worktop (fi xed) and on the chin arm
(mechanical or electrical)

5.6 Proximity head array

The proximity head array (fi gure 13) is a
head control with 3 sensors. All functions are
operated by movements of the head. The
sensors are mounted inside the right and left
wings. Control movements will also be in those
directions. The sensor mounted inside the
back pad controls movement in a forward or a
forward and reverse direction. Depending on
how the chair is programmed.
