The controller interface

2.3 Display screen

Power-up can be done via the on/off button
on the Omni interface (B in fi gure 2). When
switching on the Omni the external controller
will also become active. Some of the external
input devices can also be used to power-up the
system. Depending on the type of input device
the wheelchair has. Adjustments and settings
can be operated by the Omni and by the
external controller.
When the Omni is powered-up the screen as in
fi gure 3 will appear.
1. Battery indicator
Displays the power level of the battery
2. Speed indicator
Displays a graph of the actual speed
3. Kilometre (Mileage) counter
Displays the total distance driven
4. Kilometre (Mileage) an hour counter
Displays the actual speed
5. Maximum speed
Displays the maximum speed limit as set by
the user
6. Current profi le
Displays the selected profi le
7. Clock
Displays the time
8. Adjustment option (fi gure 4)
Displays the selected adjustment options

2.4 User menu

By holding the - and + button down at the same
time, the user menu will open (fi gure 5). In the
user menu several functions can be provided.
Forward and revers commands will change the
selected function. At the right hand of each line,
there will be either a > or a number (surrounded
by < >). A > symbol indicates that a right
command will enter that function.<3> indicates
that left and right commands will change the
selection for that function.
