Using TRACKFORMER

Producing Sound

Different sounds are assigned to each of the 16 pads.
Tapping a pad produces the sound assigned to it.
Use the VOLUME knob to adjust the volume level.
Pads 13 to 16 have an effect assigned to them, so no
sound is produced when you press them. For more
information, see "Applying an Effect" (page EN-14).
Under the initial factory default setup, the volume of
the sounds produced depends on how hard you tap
the pad. For information about how to change
settings so the volume is always the same, refer to
the separate Tutorial Manual.
■ If no sound is produced when a pad is
tapped...
Try the operations below.
Rotate the VOLUME knob to the right to increase
volume.
Set the MIX FADER to a position that is right of
center.

Playing the Demo Song

TRACKFORMER has a built in song that demonstrates
its various features.
1.
While holding down the SAMPLING selector
button, press the PLAY button.
This starts demo song playback.
2.
Press the PLAY button again to stop
playback.
• To restart playback from the beginning of the song,
hold down the FUNCTION button as you press the
PLAY button.
Playing Back from an External
Sound Source
1.
Connect a music player or microphone to
TRACKFORMER (page EN-8).
2.
Play the desired song on the music player or
input sound with the microphone.
This should cause the corresponding sound to be
output from the TRACKFORMER's speaker.
