cle in front is detected and indicates how far
away you are from that vehicle:

on the
scale

indicate the
distance to the vehicle in front. If there is no
vehicle in front, no arrows will be shown. If a
vehicle is
detected in front, the arrows
will
be
on
the scale .
The green area of the scale
represents the
dis-
tance setting (for
information
on how
to
change the distance setting,
refer to
c)
page 122).
When
the actual distance is
shorter (or is likely to become shorter) than
the
distance selected, the
arrows
move into
the red
area of the scale.

WARNING
Vehicles with
automatic
gearbox: If you
press the
ISETI
button at a speed of less
than 30 km/h, the vehicle
will
automati-
cally accelerate up to the minimum speed
setting of 30 km/h.

Note
- The speed setting
is cleared for
safety
reasons when you
switch
off the ignition
or
the adaptive
cruise control
system.

When the
adaptive cruise control is acti-
vated, you cannot
switch on
the ESC
sport mode.
