5.6 Master HPF24S Power Supply Connected to FACP
In this application, a master HPF24S power supply, set for synchronization, is connected to an
FACP with nonsynchronized output.

The following notes apply to this illustration
1.
Refer to NFPA 72, Chapter 4-4, Visible Characteristics, Public Mode.

Use only devices from the same manufacturer in each system.
5.7 Canadian Applications
Canadian applications, per ULC, require the following:
•
The HPF24S power supply must be used as a Notification Appliance Circuit extender only.
The TB2 terminals cannot be configured as auxiliary power outputs.
•
The host FACP must monitor for all ground fault conditions. The Ground Fault Detection
circuit on the HPF24S power supply must be disabled by cutting jumper JP1.
