ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS

When delivered, Kompakt boilers are completely cabled
and only need connections for electric supply lines, as well
as room thermostat(s) to be connected to the dedicated
terminals.
This appliance operates with 230 Volt/50 Hz alternate
current, 85 W electric power (R.A.I. models) or 125 W
electric power (R.S.I. models) and complies with standard
EN 60335-1.
Make electric connection as described in the following:
- untighten fixing screw of skirt control panel
- rotate the control panel downward
- untighten two screws fixing the cover to the feeder box
and remove it
Now, terminals can be taken to perform electric
connections as shown in figure;
- room thermostat and /or programmer clock are to be
connected as shown on the electric diagram.
When operations are performed, carefully reassemble
the unit.

In case of phase-to-phase supply, use a tester to check
which wire has the higher potential with respect to
grounding and connect it to L; connect the other wire
to N in the same way.

It is compulsory:
- using an omnipolar overload switch, line
disconnector, in compliance with CEI-EN standards
(minimum contact opening: 3 mm);
- using 1,5-mm

section cables and comply with L
(phase) - N (neutral) connection;
- effectively performing grounding
- protecting access to the outlet after installation.
It is forbidden using gas and water pipes for boiler
grounding.
