This unit records audio and video on SxS
memory cards (optional) inserted in the
card slots.

About SxS memory cards

Usable SxS memory cards
The following Sony SxS memory cards
(SxS PRO or SxS-1) are recommended for
this unit:
SxS PRO
• SBP-8 (8 GB)
• SBP-16 (16 GB)
• SBP-32 (32 GB)
SxS-1
• SBS-32G1 (32 GB)
• SBS-32G1A (32 GB)
• SBS-64G1A (64 GB)
Proper operation cannot be guaranteed
when memory cards other than SxS PRO
and SxS-1 are used.
The memory cards listed above comply
with the ExpressCard memory card
standard.
• SxS and SxS PRO and SxS-1 are
trademarks of Sony Corporation.
• The ExpressCard word mark and logo are
owned by Personal Computer Memory
Card International Association
(PCMCIA) and are licensed to Sony
Corporation. All other trademarks are the
property of their respective owners.
Notes on using SxS memory
cards
• Recorded data may be lost or corrupted in
the following cases.
- When the unit is subjected to shock or
vibrations during reading, writing, or
formatting of an S×S memory card, and
when the unit is powered off or an SxS
memory card is removed during
reading, writing, or formatting
- When the unit is used in an environment
subject to static electricity or electric
noise
• Do not use or store SxS memory cards in
locations that are:
- Outside the specified environmental
ranges
- Very hot, such in as vehicles parked in
the sun during summer, or exposed to
direct sunlight, or near heaters
- Subject to high humidity and corrosion
• When inserting a memory card, insert
with the label side facing the correct
direction.
• Carry and store SxS memory cards in
their cases, and lock the cases securely.
• Guard against accidents and inadvertent
data loss by backing up the data stored on
SxS memory cards. Sony cannot be
responsible for any consequences of
damage to or loss of data stored on SxS
memory cards.
• Do not attach anything other than the
supplied labels in the designated label
space. When attaching a label, make sure
it does not protrude beyond the label
space.
