Your Sky remote control

Your Sky remote control can operate your TV as well as your Sky box.
For details of the functions of your Sky remote control keys, refer to the front
of this guide.
Your Sky remote control is compatible with all makes of Sky box. If your Sky
remote control does not also operate your TV, see the Extra Information
chapter of this guide.

Turning your Sky box on and off

To turn your Sky box on, press Sky on your Sky remote control.
Make sure the standby light on the front of your Sky box is green – this shows
your Sky box is on.
To turn your Sky box off, press Sky on your Sky remote control, then press the
standby key.
The standby light is red when your Sky box is off, but still plugged into the
mains. It is not necessary to unplug your Sky box when it is not in use.
Using your Sky box
To use your Sky remote control with your Sky box, press
Sky.
To use your Sky remote control with your TV, press tv.
