Application
Model LP1000 and 2015 Exit Device Controls are designed to operate surface mounted
(rim-mounted) exit devices (not supplied) from the outside using a tailpiece, which replaces
the key cylinder on new or existing devices. Any standard pull can be mounted with Model
2015. They provide exterior access by combination, while allowing free egress at all times
by interior exit device. The locks can be used with many leading brands of surface-
mounted (rim-mounted) exit devices.
• LP1000 cannot be used with mortise design and most vertical rod exit devices.
• 2015 cannot be used with surface mounted exit devices with counterclockwise rotating
hubs, or with thumb-operated, mortise design, or most vertical rod exit devices.
Optional Features
Model LP1000 offers an optional Key override feature. An authorized user can override
the lock combination and gain access using a key. This feature allows emergency
access to facilities, and it allows them to initiate or maintain a master-keyed security
system (keyed alike or keyed differently). The lock accepts removable core cylinders
(not supplied).

My Kaba Lock has a cylinder above the interior side of the combination lock which, I remember, I was supposed to turn 30 degrees with a phillips screwdriver in order to zero out the old combination. I dont remember the rest, and I cant find the manual.
