Loading Paper in the Post-Process Inserter

The Post-Process Inserter is standard component of the Standard Finisher and Standard
Finisher with Booklet Maker. It is used to load blank or pre-printed paper that will be
used for separators and covers. The Inserter holds a maximum of 200 sheets.
1. Remove any paper that remains loaded into the Inserter.
2. Hold the center of the paper guides and slide them to the desired paper size.
3. Load the paper, aligning to the front side of the tray.
4. If the paper is preprinted, load the paper with the printed side facing up and with
the tab side to be fed first.
5. After stock is loaded into the Post-Process Inserter, a pop-up window may appear
asking you to change or confirm the type and size of the stock. The tray may not
be ready for use until you change or confirm the size and type of stock.
6. If required, choose paper size, type, or color on the printer's touch screen, then touch
Confirm.
7. If you have not changed the media type, touch Cancel to retain the previous settings.
