Downmix Settings

In the DOWNMIX SETTINGS window, you can specify a factor for
downmixing from a large number of channels to a smaller number
of channels.
The M-5000 performs downmixing in a wide variety of situations.
For example, downmixing is done when monitoring 5.1 channels or
LCR using headphones.

DOWNMIX SETTINGS Window

To display the DOWNMIX SETTINGS window, go to the MENU
window and tap <DOWNMIX SETTINGS>.
5.1 TO STEREO
Sets the amount of audio sent from 5.1ch L/R to
STEREO L/R.
L/R LEVEL
The default value is 0.0 dB.
Sets the amount of audio sent from 5.1ch C to
STEREO L/R.
C LEVEL
The default value is -3.0 dB.
Sets the amount of audio sent from 5.1ch Ls/Rs
to STEREO L/R.
Ls/Rs
The default value is -3.0 dB.
Sets the amount of audio sent from 5.1ch LFE to
LFE
STEREO L/R.
The default value is -Inf dB.
LCR TO STEREO
Sets the amount of audio sent from LCR L/R to
STEREO L/R.
L/R LEVEL
The default value is 0.0 dB.
Sets the amount of audio sent from LCR C to
STEREO L/R.
C LEVEL
The default value is -3.0 dB.
STEREO TO MONO
Sets the amount of audio sent from STEREO L/R
to MONO.
L/R LEVEL
The default value is -3.0 dB.
Returns the settings for 5.1 TO STEREO, LCR TO
DEFAULT
STEREO, and STEREO TO MONO to their default
values.
Discards any changes to 5.1 TO STEREO, LCR TO
CANCEL
STEREO, and STEREO TO MONO, and exits the
DOWNMIX SETTINGS window.
Applies changes to 5.1 TO STEREO, LCR TO
OK
STEREO, and STEREO TO MONO and exits the
DOWNMIX SETTINGS window.
