Open the cover in the direction of the arrow

Turn the cap of the AdBlue
tank filler neck in the direction of arrow
place into the recess on the flap in the direction of arrow

After refilling AdBlue
put the cap on the fuel filler neck and turn in the oppo-
site direction of the arrow
until it engages.

Close the fuel filler flap until it clicks into place.
Use the pump at the gas station with the appropriate pump nozzle.
For information on storing AdBlue
Store away from direct sunlight.
This not expose to temperatures exceeding 30° C.
For information on using AdBlue
®
Only use AdBlue
that corresponds to the standard ISO 22241-1.
Do not use the solution after the expiry date shown on the container.
Instructions for cleaning
If any vehicle parts, clothing or carpets come into contact, then clean the af-
fected location with plenty of cold water.

Remove any spilled AdBlue
with a damp cloth and plenty of cold water.
Remove any crystallized AdBlue
WARNING
®
AdBlue
is an irritant solution, this should therefore be treated with great
care.
With eye and skin contact with AdBlue
plenty of water and seek medical advice.
CAUTION
Follow the instructions on the refill bottle and on the canister.

Never fill AdBlue
directly in the diesel fuel tank - there is a risk of damaging
the engine parts.
Never carry refill bottles and cans with AdBlue
there is a risk of damage to the vehicle interior.
Never add water or other additives AdBlue
For the sake of the environment

Dispose of used AdBlue
solution containers in accordance with national regu-
lations.

WARNING
Injuries or scolding or risks of accident or fire may occur when working in
the engine compartment. For this reason, it is essential to comply with the
warning instructions outlined below and with the general applicable safety
rules. The engine compartment of your car is a hazardous area!
WARNING
Instructions before beginning work in the engine compartment
Turn off the engine and remove the ignition key.
The parking brake switch.
For vehicles with manual transmission the lever into the neutral position.
On vehicles with automatic transmission, shift the selector lever into the
P position.
Allow the engine to cool.
Never open the bonnet if you can see steam or coolant escaping from the
engine compartment – risk of scalding! Wait until no more steam or coolant
is escaping.
WARNING
Information for working in the engine room
Keep all people, especially children, away from the engine compartment.
