Troubleshooting

The following cases may not suggest failures. Please check again before requesting
repair. When the meter does not function normally after checking the following, it
may be damaged. Remove the battery, and ask the retailer or us to repair it.

Are you pressing and holding the
Power Button for one or more
seconds?
Are
of the batteries inserted
properly?
Are the batteries exhausted?
Are the battery terminals dirty?
re you using the specified
batteries?
Is the screen locked?
Are you using the "CL-70F
Utility"?
Is the Light Selection Ring in
the middle position? The light
distribution characteristics
change and suitable
measurements cannot be made.
Is the measuring mode wrong?
(Such as measuring in Ambient
Light Mode in flash light)
re you using the pre-flash
function when measuring in
Cordless Flash Mode?

Measure
Press and hold the Power Button
for one or more seconds.
Check the
signs. ( P4)
Replace the batteries. ( P9)
Wipe them off with a dry cloth.
Check the batteries. ( P4)
Press and hold the Menu
Button
to unlock the screen.

Stop using the "CL-70F Utility".
Rotate the Light Selection Ring
until it clicks.
Check if the measuring mode is
correct. ( P22)
In Cordless Flash Mode, the
measurement value of the main
flash may not be displayed
because the pre-flash is
measured at first.
Cancel the pre-flash function.
