ARAMETERS
These parameters are displayed:
MVR Configuration
MVR Mode – When MVR is enabled on the switch, any multicast data
associated with an MVR group is sent from all designated source ports,
to all receiver ports that have registered to receive data from that
multicast group. (Default: Disabled)
VLAN Interface Settings
MVR VID – Identifier of the VLAN that serves as the channel for
streaming multicast services using MVR. MVR source ports should be
configured as members of the MVR VLAN, but MVR receiver ports
should not be manually configured as members of this VLAN.
(Default: 100)
MVR Name – An optional attribute used to indicate the name of a
specific MVR VLAN. (Range: 1-32 alphanumeric characters, containing
at least one alphabetic character)
Mode – Specify the MVR mode of operation:
Dynamic – MVR allows dynamic MVR membership reports on
source ports. (This is the default.)
Compatible – MVR membership reports are forbidden on source
ports.
Tagging – Specifies whether the traversed IGMP/MLD control frames
will be sent untagged or tagged with the MVR VID. (Default: Tagged)
Priority – Specifies the priority for transmitting traversed IGMP/MLD
control frames. (Default: 0)
LLQI – Last Listener Query Interval is the maximum time to wait for
IGMP/MLD report memberships on a receiver port before removing the
port from multicast group membership. (Range: 0 to 31,744 tenths of a
second; Default: 5 tenths of a second)
Interface Channel Setting – When the MVR VLAN is created, click the
Edit symbol to expand the corresponding multicast channel settings for
the specific MVR VLAN. Summary about the Interface Channel Setting
(of the MVR VLAN) will be shown besides the Edit symbol.
Port – Port identifier.
Role – Click the Role symbol to configure a port to one of the following
MVR roles.
Inactive (I) – The designated port does not participate in MVR
operations. (This is the default.)
