Set the following options as desired.

Scan as: Select a color from the pop-up list.
Color Sets the AiO to scan a color photo in color.
Grayscale Sets the AiO to scan a black and white photo and convert it to grays.
Black & White Sets the AiO to scan in black and white.
Auto-crop: When this checkbox is selected, your EasyShare AiO automatically detects how you
arranged pictures on the scanner glass. When it is unchecked, the entire glass is scanned as one
picture.
Resolution: You can choose a resolution you want to use for scanning. The resolutions supported are
75, 150, 200, 300, 600, and 1200, dpi.
File Format: When scanning to a file, you can save the scanned image as a BMP, JPEG, or TIFF file.
Select a format from the pop-up list.
Quality: When scanning to a file and the selected file format is JPEG, you can select the compression
quality of the saved file. A higher quality means the compression will be lower, resulting in a larger file
size.
Click Apply Now or OK.

File Save Settings
When you initiate a scan to file operation, you can have the AiO Home Center prompt you for the filename
and location to save the file, or save the file automatically to the name and location you specify.
On the main AiO Home Center window, click Setup to display the settings options.

Click Scan.

Click the Pictures tab.

Set the following options as desired..

Prompt for filename and location: Select to have the AiO Home Center prompt you for the filename
and location to save the file.
Automatically save in folder named with date of scan: Select to automatically save scans to the
name and location you specify. The default filename base is Scan appended with a three digit integer
that increments sequentially as photos are scanned and saved.
Base name: Edit field for entering your base filename.
Location: Edit field and Select button for choosing a folder.
Click Apply Now or OK.
