Call Forwarding

The Broadsoft also provides switch-based call
forwarding features. These features are de-
scribed on
You should not use these phone-based
call forwarding features together with the
Broadsoft call forwarding features.
Using the phone-based call forwarding fea-
tures gives you greater control over your call
forwarding.
To manage your telephone, you can have calls forward-
ed to another telephone.
Prerequisite: The call forwarding function is active
page 65.
Three types of call forwarding can be programmed us-
ing the Forward menu:
Unconditional
On no reply
On busy
Due to its immediate effect, the unconditional type of
forwarding has a higher priority than the no reply and
busy types. Calls that are being actively forwarded are
displayed in the status list (
that a key which has been assigned the call forwarding
function provides a shortcut to the number to which
calls are currently being forwarded.
If the administrator has activated the function for log-
ging forwarded calls, these calls will be listed in the
"Forwarded calls" log (

Checking Forwarding Status

The three types of call forwarding can have the follow-
ing states:
Not programmed
Not active
Active
To check the current state, scroll to the Forward menu.
